Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrive in Bamako.
Welcome at the airport, and transfer to Hotel Mande. Upon arrival at the hotel, Includes: (D).

Day 2:Bamako-Timbuktu
Early in the morning, flight to reach the legendary city of Timbuktu, the city of 333 holy, the mysterious city or the doorway to the desert founded around the 11th century by the touareg Imagcharen. In Timbuktu the tradition says: gold comes the south, salt comes from the north, money comes from Occident, but the speeches of God, holy things, wonderful stories can be found only in Timbuktu. The 6th administrative capital of Mali, Timbuktu attracts many tourists who like to discover an exceptional cultural heritages, adventure landscape and fabulous histories of the city, you will visit its magnificent mud-brick structures including the Mosque of Sankoré and the Place of Bouctou, the explorers house. Overnight in the hotel. Includes: (B).

Day 3:Timbuktu-Mopti-Dogon Country
Early in the morning, flight to Mopti, the Venice of Mali for its location between the Bani and Niger River, visit: the beautiful Soudanese style mosque, the fishing port, the bustling market where many ethnic group of Mali – Bambara, Fulani, Bozo, Bobo, Dogon, Sonrhaï, come to trade, tranfer to a 4WD and drive to Dogon Land, visit to explore Dogon villages on Bandiagara escarpment edge long of around 200 km, classified as world heritages on double tittle of nature and culture, visit of some villages like of Banani, Amani, Irely and Terely on the escarpment to discover deeply the Dogon culture, a population very attached into their secular tradition, the Hogon considered as the oldest and spiritual chief of the village, the House of Gouina where the Hogon sleep, the Toguna constituted of eight feet and eight roofs. Tonight, enjoy your dinner under the stars and spend the night in traditional beautiful mud structures at a Dogon village. Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 4:Mopti-Djenne
After breakfast drive to Djenne the city classified as World Heritages because of its architecture. The city considered as the twin of Timbuktu because of its attachment on Islam. Founded around the 10th century by Soninkés, a religious city considered as one of the oldest city in Africa. The visit of children learning in Koranic school is worthy. Djenne is very famous by its colorful market and the biggest mud monument in the world. Visit of San on the way - the capital of Bobo land, an ethnic very attached to its culture as they are animists, the mosque a little similar to the one of Djenne, arrival, city tour the Mosque, Koranic schools and houses of Sudanese architecture and overnight in Djenné (Campement). Includes: (B).

Day 5:Djenne-Bamako
Early in the morning, drive to Bamako, via Segu, arrival you will explore this capital city of Bamako situated on the Niger, one of Africa's great rivers. Mali is a country of many tribal peoples, each with your own exuberant styles of clothing and jewelry. Bamako has a large art and craft center where sculptors, weavers, leather workers, jewelers and metal workers exhibit their wares and skills. You will visit the Grand Marché, or "Great Market", where you can spend hours exploring the hundreds of stalls. From carvings and cassettes, to fabrics, beads, brass and gold, the variety of goods is staggering. One area of the market is devoted entirely to traditional African medicines, the national museum, and overnight at hotel Includes: (B).

Day 6: Bamako-Kankan
Leave Mali for Guinea Conakry. Drive to Kankan. Breakfast and drive to Kankan to see the market, do the city tour Grand Marche, Grand Mosque, university, Samory Courou: and overnight at your hotel in Kankan Hotel Bate

Day 7:Kankan-Mamou
Drive to Mamou via Dabola. Visit of the Kindoye Falls (natural swimming-pool), the cave of the Sawamba Hil, the natural garden of Diguilin. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 8:Mamou-Labe
Drive to Labe via the Falls of Konkoure. Visit of the Sala Falls and the Sorekali Falls. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 9: Drive to Labe via the Falls of Konkoure.
Visit of the Sala Falls and the Sorekali Falls. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 10: Day around Labe.
Visit of the source of Gambia river and Senegal river, of the historical village of Timbo (mosque). Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 11: Drive to Koundara (Senegal border). On the way, view of various Fulani villages, and the Badiar Hill. Visit of the Niokolo Badiar Park created in 1996. Arrival at Koundara at the end of the day.Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 12: Koundara-Kaolack
Early morning, leave for Kaolack, you will visit some weekly village markets gathering thousands of villagers, visit villages of various ethnic groups, visit Kaolack and its market famous for its medicinal herbs and its African fabrics, check in to your hotel. Dinner and overnight at Hotel Atlantic. Includes: (B), (D).

Day 13: Kaolack - Saint Louis.
Leave for Saint Louis, On the way, you will visit the Fulani village. Proceed to Saint Louis, visiting some traditional Wolof villages. Arrive in Saint Louis towards the end of the day. Welcome dinner and overnight at Hotel Le Cap in Saint Louis. Includes: (B), (D).

Day 14: Saint Louis.
Leave the hotel for a tour of Saint Louis – former capital of Senegal and all French West African settlements. You will admire the charming beauty of this colonial styled city. The historic center of Saint Louis will be visited in horse-drawn carriage. Stop at the Governor’s Palace, visit the fishermen district of Guet Ndar, the district of Ndar Toute with its market, the handicraft village. At noon, proceed by motor canoe to “Langue de Barbarie” Bird Sanctuary, one of the most important ornithological sites of the world. You will admire this beautiful nature reserve between the Atlantic Ocean and the Senegal River. Dinner and overnight at Hotel Le Cap or a similar. Includes: (B).

Day 15: Saint Louis - Dakar.
Leave Saint Louis for Dakar. On the way, you will visit Pink Lake Retba, meet the “Salt Lake harvesters” drawing salt from the lake, and visit the Fulani village on the north bank of the lake, visit some traditional Wolof villages. Arrive in Dakar dinner and overnight at Hotel Includes: (B), (D).

Day 16: Dakar.
Start a tour of Dakar with its main markets. Visit Kermel Market, Sandaga Market, stop at the President’s Palace and admire its red Spahi guards, stop at the Parliament House, the Cathedral and the Great Mosque. Visit the University going through the residential district of Fann showing the new Senegalese architecture style. Stop at the Millennium Door, one of the newest monuments of Dakar and go through the picturesque district of Medina.

In the afternoon, take a boat ride to Goree Island where you will arrive after 20 minutes. Visit the House of Slaves where the curator will deliver a lecture on “300 years of Slave Trading in West Africa”. Visit the ethnographic museum, the Fort and the Memorial of Goree. Stop at the Governor’s Palace and take some time for shopping at the little market of Goree. Return to your hotel. In the evening, transfer to the airport.
