|For many years DMC Africa has been cooperating with international television and film companies in assisting them with their ground travel arrangements during their filming in Africa. Whether you are coming to Africa to film a documentary movie, news telecast, or your next feature film, DMC has the logistic and political connections to make it all possible.|
FILMING PERMISSION & WORK VISAS
NO MORE HASSLE…
To film in Mali or any part of West Africa all productions must receive written approval for shoots, as well as work visas for all international crew, which are issued by various Malian and West African Governmental Offices.
DMC Africa takes away the hassle by applying for everything on your behalf. DMC Africa has also built up an excellent relationship with the Malian Government and many West African Governments which assures quicker and more efficient service.
DMC Africa require the following application times:
• Filming permission: Minimum 7 Working Days
• Work visas: Minimum 14 Working Days

DMC Africa provides a full location scouting service at extremely competitive rate.
In all circumstances DMC Africa combines the Director’s vision with practical locations that will logistically benefit the production.
The greatest benefit of making use of our Malian and west African location scouts is the huge saving in cost, and travel time is kept to a minimum. The scout’s unbeatable local knowledge remains the biggest benefit and cannot be measured in any currency.
After the scout has been completed we provide you with:
• a professional location presentation on PowerPoint, or
• on a shared access meeting room / website, or
• hard copy
A HOME AWAY FROM HOME…
At DMC Africa we cater to all accommodation tastes and make sure that we provide the best possible options for your production.
Our coordinators have excellent rapport with the hotels, guesthouses and estate agents and have negotiated discounted rates at various establishments around Mali and West Africa.

DINING IN THE DUNES...
Location catering companies in Mali and many West African countries strive for service excellence by providing high quality meals on set for up to 750+ people at a sitting.
An extensive menu is available for breakfast, craft and lunch, as well as a third meal if required. Our caterers cater for any dietary preferences and requirements.
There are no locations that our caterers cannot travel to, as a 6x6 truck, 4 x 4 mobile kitchens and craft vehicles are at their disposal.
PAYROLL, ACCOUNTING, VAT RECONCILIATION & RECLAIM SERVICES
As the employer of record DMC Africa provides the visiting producer hassle free payroll facilities including deducting local PAYE, paying the taxes over to the Receiver of Revenue and the issuing of Employees’ Tax Certificates at the end of the financial year and all legal requirements pertaining to such matters.
DMC Africa will open a dedicated bank account for any production and supply an accountant dedicated to the production to either work alone or alongside the visiting producer’s accountant, providing the producer with an accurate cost report when ever required.
DMC Africa submits the returns for remittance of VAT and facilitates the reclaims of the VAT.

ASPECTS OF ART
DMC Africa provides support to all aspects of Art in order to ensure the accurate visual portrayal of the director’s vision.
We provide budgets estimates, time estimates, crew, support material & infrastructure, etc for set construction, props, fabrication, wardrobe, etc.
DMC Africa will facilitate you with casting:
• Lead cast members
• Featured extras
• Background extras
• Stunt Doubles
Depending on your production, we will find the best possible look for you, whether it may be European, African or Asian.
